Christmas day at Community Kitchen

We will serve dinner on Christmas day from 3-6pm to anyone in need, no questions asked, from our main location at 1515 S Rogers St and our Express location at 1100 W 11th St. Dinner will include ham, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry fruit salad, rolls, pies and apple cider.

If you are a senior adult or person with disabilities and need a home-delivered meal on Christmas day, contact Area 10 Agency on Aging at 812-876-3383 to ask to be put on their delivery list. We provide the food, they provide the volunteers to deliver.

Food donations for Christmas dinner are welcome! We need:

Hams (boneless preferred)
Canned sweet potatoes
Canned cranberry
Canned fruit: tropical fruit, fruit cocktail, pineapple, mandarins
Canned green beans
Canned cream of mushroom soup
Rolls
Apple cider
Butter

Food donations are received at our main location at 1515 S Rogers St from 8am - 6:30pm, Mon-Fri or 11am-6:30pm on Saturdays.
